Dad just bought us a new PC. It’s a Samsung (God knows what model) and the monitor screen is freaking long. Oh and we got a new monster of a printer as well - get this: it’s also a scanner, fax machine and it also photostates! Wah liao … I mean, seriously???! Since when did things get to canggih-fied … or am I just extremely kampung?

(That’s a rethorical question. Kindly DO NOT answer ya!)

Anyway, still getting the hang of the new PC. Dode took 4 hours to download countless versions of BitTorrent only to get frustrated cause it doesn’t work … and then discovered that it’s the really strict Spyware that was screwing up the program.

And then he complained that the computer couldn’t read our hard disks. I nearly died when I heard that. But then I spent about 10 minutes literally poking my hard disk into all the orifices that I could find (on the computer, silly) and lo and behold, the *er* cable fits! It’s kinda anal cause it only works from behind. Haha.

Now I’ve found one more gripe. I can’t open some blogs - mine included. As in the minute it starts loading the site, the whole screen hangs. Argh. And I can’t open Facebook. Shite.

Sometimes, you kinda wish that technology wasn’t so smart so that you don’t feel so dumb :p
