This has got to be the biggest joke of the week. Ronaldo being sold for 80 million?? And to Real Madrid!

As a Manchester United fan, I’m super glad he’s leaving. He’s good but nowhere near as brilliant as he thinks he is, or ought to be. And when he’s bad, he downright sucks.

And honestly, once the rumours started swirling around, we’ve all just been waiting for him to leave. I always say a slightly less talented player who lives and dies for Manchester United is tons better than someone whose heart is not really in it.

Tell me he is not doing it for the money, though. 600k a week is ludicrous!! And talking about challenges, the only club that I can see realistically as a step up would be Barcelona, not Real Madrid.

But oh well. I say thanks for the cash, Perez. Us Manchester United fans are laughing all the way to the bank. Come the close of the 2009/2010 season, let’s see what they can win with the show pony that is Ronaldo.
